Christian Augustus PEARCE My great, great grandfather, a fishmonger/poulterer who lived and died in England, the oldest photo on this website is his, or it could be his father's.
Frank Augustus PEARCE Son of Christian, and father's grandfather, with a story or two to tell, and the odd fib as well.
Emily Hambly HARRIS Frank's wife, my great grandmother, one of the first women in the world to vote in the 1892 election.
Walter Hambley PEARCE Son of Emily and Frank, and father of my father, he survived the First World War, and married twice.
Elizabeth Ann HEPPLESTON My grandmother, known as Lily, who died when my father was nearly 15.  Born in Wales, but she lived in at least three other countries.  She was Walter's first wife and mother of all his children.

Robert Fergusson STRONG My mother's father, born in London, married Eva Stevens in France, he moved to NZ after the doctor recommended sunnier climates without smog, to cure ill-health caused by being gassed in the war.
Mary Anne THOMPSON My mother's paternal grandmother, who having divorced in the 1890s, disappeared from her family.
Robert Fergusson STRONG Sen. My grandfather's father, another mysterious family member, but what little is known of him is very interesting indeed.  He traveled with my grandfather, then four, around Europe last century.
The Hambley Connection Our main claim to fame, and that recurring family name, find out why we're such an inventive family.
Arthur Hambley PEARCE Walter Pearce's brother, and my great uncle, who died in the Battle of Passchendaele, lest we forget.
